Family Foresters

A fun family forest session for all the family

Join us on one Saturday every month… sessions begin at 10.30am until 12.00pm

Cattows Farm (Turbine), Leicestershire

You asked so we answered!!! After lots of comments like; “my husband would love this but he works in the week” or “I’m returning to work so won’t be able to attend any more” we put our heads together and decided to bring you family foresters.

Family Foresters is for families of all ages to enjoy exploring, adventures and precious outdoor family time in the woods.

In line with the forest school principles the sessions will allow children to explore the woodland environment, teaching them to respect the natural environment and explore a number of skills within the Forest School Ethos including: den making, shelter building, knots & lashings, tree climbing, mud/clay modelling, mini beast habitats, flora/fauna identification, obstacle courses and natural fire lighting to name just a few.

So if you crave more family time and share our love for the outdoors this could be the perfect session for you.
